How much does a headstone cost?

The cost of a memorial will vary greatly depending on the size, shape & colour of stone used. Standard memorial headstones range between $3000.00-$5000.00. A small granite plaque will start at $400 and a basic headstone for pick up will start at approx. $1550

How long does it take?

A plaque can be done in 3-4 weeks, while a headstone from our stock range can be completed in 4-6 weeks. If the design you select is not in stock, we order this and it can take 2-3 months to arrive. All inscriptions, photos and other design is done onsite after the stone arrives cut to shape.

Do you install outside Levin?

Yes. We install across the lower North Island and supply nationwide.

Third generation monumental mason

The Mark Family have been working in the New Zealand monumental and stone industry since 1960. Chris Mark is a 3rd generation Monumental Mason with 15+ years in the industry.

He bought the family headstone and memorial business from his mother and father in early 2021 after many years working alongside them.

Chris, along with his wife Melissa and their 3 children, continue the family tradition of providing beautiful and fitting memorials that really stand up to the Mark!
