How much does a headstone cost?

The cost of a memorial will vary greatly depending on the size, shape & colour of stone used. Standard memorial headstones range between $3000.00-$5000.00. A small granite plaque will start at $400 and a basic headstone for pick up will start at approx. $1550

How long does it take?

A plaque can be done in 3-4 weeks, while a headstone from our stock range can be completed in 4-6 weeks. If the design you select is not in stock, we order this and it can take 2-3 months to arrive. All inscriptions, photos and other design is done onsite after the stone arrives cut to shape.

Do you install outside Levin?

Yes. We install across the lower North Island and supply nationwide.

Double and Companion Memorials

When designing a headstone, you can choose between a single headstone for one person or a companion headstone for two. In some cases, a memorial can be designed to commemorate 3 people or more.

Companion headstones can be split into two headstones on a single base, or feature both names and inscriptions on one stone. When both inscriptions are on one stone, sometimes they are side by side, and sometimes one on top of the other.

Space is often left for a surviving spouse or partner, with new inscriptions added when needed. In some cases, the stone may need to be temporarily removed for the engraving work when the second name and details are added.
